Senior Software Developer – Automotive Infotainment, Automotive Telematics, Automotive Connected Service

Job description:

o Definition of representation of external application as offered on GSM/GPRS/UMTS/WCDMA

o Definition of content transmission via Bluetooth

o Documentation of necessary adaptions

o Embedded SW development in Android or QSEK environment

o SW implementation and test within Eclipse or similar environment (JAVA and C/C++)

o Notification of CAN function calls

o Processing of digital signals from Internet or broadcast media

a) Education level:

o Bachelor degree or above

b) Specialization:

o Computer Science

o Software Engineering

o Electric and Electronics

o Other related discipline

c) Special knowledge:

o Background in Andriod, Linux, iOS based software development is desirable

o Experience in the design and coding of real time embedded control software using "C/C++",

o Familiar with JAVA and HTML based software programming

o Experience in Smart Phone Apps development/programming

o Experience working with .NET Framework and .NET based languages preferably C#

o Good understanding of audio, telecommunication, consumer electronics, safety products or automotive control products will be an added advantage

o Familiar with WIFI or Bluetooth interface

o Good knowledge of communication (GSM, GPRS, DMB, digital TV) or representation (image data processing) techniques.

o HMI related design and development experience

o Knowledgeable about automotive CAN or MOST bus related tool sets(CANalyzer, CANape, CANoe, etc.)

o Experience ASIC/RISC or microprocessor programming is advantageous (KEIL compiler, or similar)

o Hardware design experiences are beneficial

o English

o German is advantageous
