Job Summary/ Job Purpose

Main Role:
-2nd level production support
-Catalog development on Finacle and other applications including whole lifecycle management
-Project contribution including development, testing support, production release preparation

Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks

Main Role
-2nd level production application support
-Take over production cases which cannot be solved by 1st level support
-Coordinate with vendors efficiently on those issues being responsible by vendors, to get solved according to agreed SLA between SG China and vendors
-Address the issues and make code / parameter changes for those IT-DEV responsible issues
-Update the responsible list of production cases on sharepoint in a timely basis

Catalog development
-Responsible for discussing with end user requirement to get complete requirement spec
-Responsible for writing detailed design documents
-Responsible for the code development activity
-Responsible for producing operational documentation, release notes
-Responsible for preparing and executing unit tests, generating test reports
-Responsible for supporting end users to validate the test result
-Responsible for preparing the production release and training to relevant department if needed

Project contribution
-Implement project related development work (same as catalog development)
-Provide test support for IT PM / end user including raising test CR, test issue analysis and recording
-Provide production release support

Candidate Profile

Academic Background(degree and major): Bachelor's Degree or above on Computer Science

Working Experience /Technical Skills & Know how: 2-5 years working experience in banking industry

Skills & Competencies:
-Development Languages: Java, Java script, J2EE, JSP, SQL, Unix shell scripts
-Familiar with: AIX, Linux, Oracle, SQL server

Language Skills: English, Mandarin

Computer Skill: Experienced in using Eclipse, ClearCase

Professional Qualification(if applicable): Good communication skill,good comprehensive ability,logical, clear mind, can present solution clearly,can work under pressure

Others if any(require to travel, etc): Business oriented and can discuss with internal client on requirement and propose feasible solutions to internal client clearly and confidently
