Key Accountabilities

? Key part of the APAC Inventory leadership team in the execution of the relevant Category Inventory Strategy as part of the Offer function
? Direct line management of the local Inventory and Planning team
? Accountable for managing Inventory levels through effective order book management, quality conformance issues and stock management activities, including buyback processing and cost control
? Strategic local vendor performance, cost control and quality
? Input into the development of the specific category Inventory Strategy, working with the Global Asset team to propose inventory and service related threats and opportunities
? Report inventory performance for specific category to Global Asset Executive and Regional Inventory Management (APAC) as appropriate to drive improvement
? Business performance reviews, team meetings, appraisals and business reporting completed on time and to Electrocomponents standard
? Ensure correct delegation of authority (DOA) policy is in place to empower teams with appropriate levels of commercial decision making
? Ensure our people are empowered, highly engaged and safe, as well as being equipped with the right skills, systems and processes to deliver their objectives


Person Specification

? Business related qualification
? Experience in international supply chain planning / inventory management
? Highly effective leadership skills, proactive, motivational and dynamic in approach
? Strong commercial analytical skills; able to interpret and communicate financial impact
? Ability to implement plans to support the category asset strategy through delegation and performance management of team
? Experience of collaborative working with cross functional and international teams
? Experience and capability to operate at/interact at more senior organisational levels
? Strong interpersonal skills to drive alignment across a Global matrix organisation, and effective matrix working within Offer
? Fluent in English language
