The Dept. Mission:-

To choose the right merchandise in the right quantity at the right time. It is the art of knowing how to buy. Must interpret their clientele's taste and provide the client with the right product and plan its assortment accordingly. To create a united brand image for all stores, grouping each family in each collection.

Job Function:

1. Interpretation of consumer demands.
2. Development of an overall well-coordinated fashion image.
3. Setting a seasonal preliminary purchase plan.
4. Deciding on product placement and assortment.
5. Product and visual merchandising - hence store image.
6. Briefings to sales team to communicate product benefit and utility.
7. Monitoring and managing distribution of merchandise.
8. Setting appropriate stock elimination plans.
9. Analyzing sales and forecasting the buy.
10. When setting up the promotional and advertising plan, the buyer is responsible for the information given on all the points of strength of the collection.
11. Needs to form mini collections and display them in stores in addition to ensure that the stores are all united in one common look for the brands identity
12. Develop store visuals and apply them within all store locations. For example, window display, sale promotional display and seasonal displays.
Principal Accountabilities:

1. Buy Merchandise to the stores of the related brand up to the Trends, Cut and colours of the season according to the target client that are required to address.
2. The usage of a BOT Program (open to buy) in order to adjust your buying according to the budget.
3. Managerial reports on each buying trip to top management in terms of product assessment, supplier assessment and provide comments on items bought.
4. Store Access on visual merchandiser lay out and windows.
5. Supervising the final art work of the seasonal catalogue.
6. Train stuff on the seasonal trends and fashion cuts.
Job Specifications
Know how and experience required:
1. Merchandise knowledge.
2. Client knowledge.
3. Production knowledge.
4. Competition knowledge.
5. Information - political, economic and social Knowledge.
6. Excellent Command in English Languages.
7. Minimum from 3-5 years of experience in the same field.
8. Excellent use of Microsoft office.
9. Image Builder.
10. Creative in design and knowledge of color coordination
