Incumbent Requirements Bachelor degree or above of Computer Science or related major in information management2+ year experience on project management of BI, especially SAP BW projects 3+ years experience of SAP BW as data modeler, front-end developer and data warehouse architect.Strong knowledge of SAP BW and related reporting tools.At least 2-3 full life cycle implementation with BW projectsFamiliar with PMP (Project Management) methodology, PMP certification is preferred.Strong sense of responsibility, spirit of enterprise, and team spiritAbility to work under pressureStrong problem solving and logical decision-making capabilityStrong vendor management skillStrong presentation and communication skills

Job Purpose:
The Applications Analyst BI role is a key role for Mars IS, and is critical to the delivery and support of applications to the Asia business units, which have a mature, sophisticated and integrated IT landscape.
The Applications Analyst BI will have strong communication skills, and the ability to develop relationships with individuals and teams. Relationships are required with the broader applications team, will work with Mars IS global and local resources, business unit associates, account managers and site teams.
The Applications Analyst BI will be competent in the areas of functional, technical and data analysis, and will liaise with business partners to convert requirements into technology solutions.
The individual will be expected to manage activities and projects. Hence good communication, planning, process and functional management skills are expected. A good understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle methodologies, and support methodologies such as ITIL, is required.
The Applications Analyst BI will be able to support the technology solutions in an efficient and robust manner.

Job Responsibilities:
Key areas of responsibilities include:
l  Manage BI project and deliver to Mars business within agreed timeline, cost & quality.
l  Work with business user managers and users in aspects of new business process and system implementation within the scope of agreed projects, converting business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
l  Complete technical development in the designated technologies and/or manage and assist resources doing the technical development work, in accordance with agreed templates and global standards.
l  Execute commissioning activities, including development and execution of test plans, and prepare training material and programs. Provide process training to Functional Experts where applicable.
l  Assist Functional Experts in troubleshooting in-depth functional issues, while coaching Functional Experts to assume ownership of day-to-day requests to minimize repetitive technical involvement.
l  Work directly with external resources on issue/problem root cause analysis and develop long-term resolutions.
l  Specific applications to be supported include, but are not limited to: Business Intelligence technologies, including the delivery of project and CIP activity utilizing QlikView, SAP BW and Oracle data warehouse technologies.

Experience and Competencies required to be successful in the role:
n  Strong project management skills to lead multi-priorities implementation, requirements gathering and system support processes.
n  Very good understanding of business function and process.
n  Strong analytical skills
n  General understanding of FMCG industry is desired.
n  Strong understanding and proficiency in business intelligence technologies such as SAP BW (Query and backend), QlikView, Business Objects, etc. 2~3 years BI related experience.
n  Understanding of Relational Database technology, including SQL and Oracle procedural programming.
n  Good verbal, written and presentation communication skills in English.
n  Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Business/Management Information Systems preferred.
