Background:
The Global EUT (End User Technology) team is responsible for the support for end user technologies in Mars Inc. This team provides support for desktop Operating System, Directories and Email.
The jobholder will be responsible for working on and with a global team of approx. 20 associates and contractors located in 3 Mars IS Hub Sites. The primary responsibility is the flawless and timely support of the Windows, Active Directory, Novell IDM and BPOS technologies. This includes supporting infrastructure requirements, following the GIST / standards, and application ITIL concepts.
Position Summary:
The role provides global operational leadership for Client Architecture (Desktop) services, global EUT representation for the Asia-Pacific region and team lead role of EUT associates in Guangzhou.
Location: Guangzhou, China
Line Manager:Asia Pacific Infrastructure Operation Manager
Travel Required: 5%
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities associated with the role may include some of the following technology:
· Global Operational Leadership for Client Architecture technology services
n Operational Management of Microsoft SCCM infrastructure incl. Application re-packaging and release management services.
n Monitoring services via Microsoft SCOM.
n Asset Management services using KACE.
n Device build services and management of architecture roadmap, utilizing Intrinsic Swimage.
· Global representation for EUT Operations in the Asia-Pac
Frequent communication with the Development team, Site Teams, IT Service Managers, Service Desk and GIST Senior Managers as well as Vendors and Partners. You will be the go-to person for EUT in the Asia-Pac and represent both your area and your team.
· Team leader for EUT in ISC
This aspect of the role involves understanding what it means to be an EUT Operational team and building an effective team.

· Escalation point and key contact in the region for Client Architecture (Desktop) area

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in MIS or computer Sciences or equivalent
· At least 5 years experience working in infrastructure support, leading technical areas or running infrastructure projects.
· Demonstrated analytical skills and proven ability solving problems and manage processes within a complex environment.
· Experience of managing relationships with vendors
· Broad experience in managing infrastructure technologies
· Strong technology background.
· Demonstrated team management experience.
Highly considered:
· Good technical understanding of one or more Microsoft technologies including SCCM, SCOM, Active Directory.
· Knowledge of the ITIL and ITSM concepts
