Role Title: Senior Consultant Specialist
Business: RIT Reg CIO ASP IT
Role Purpose / Description
The Technical Architect is responsible for systems architecture support and development in the areas of Private Banking.
-Manage system architecture for projects in the above business areas aligning with the Group project management framework.
-Schedule and deliver system solutions in accordance with relevant business requirements.
-Work closely with software engineers and developers, to ensure the delivered projects/ solutions can meet the budget, time-line, and quality objectives in alignment with business strategy.
-Work with Group/Regional IT solution architects to understand the Group’s direction and IT solutions supporting the respective business areas.
-Provide proactive consultancy to business users in formulating system solutions that can help business to capture revenue growth, improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
-University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
-Minimum 7 years of IT system development experience with exposure in the relevant business areas
-Strong track record in collaborating with relevant business units and functions in project delivery
-Proven working experience of coordinating multi-location teams on development and implementation work
-Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate technical solutions for business’ understanding.
-Good understanding on the project management framework
-Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin), Cantonese will be an advantage.
-Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
-Solid knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
-Java 8, Spring, JUnit, Mockito
-Apache Camel, Mule, MQ
-SOAP, REST APIs, RAML, Microservices
-Experienced in CI / DevOps and automated testing tools
such as Confluence, Jira and Jenkins.
