ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER-LUXURY JEWELLERY BRAND

Our client, a luxury jewellery brand owned by one of the largest luxury groups, is looking for an Assistant Sales/ Operations Manager to be responsible for their premium located stores. You must have gained at least 2-5 years experience in Luxury Jewellery. This is a great opportunity to join a high end jewellery brand with huge growth plans in the coming year and play a key role in an exciting small team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management of the sales force
Assist the Retail Manager in hiring, coaching and motivating the sales team to increase sales and achieve optimum operational efficiency
Help create and deliver trainings and staff development programs
Participate in all boutique manager meetings and create meeting minutes to share with all participants.

CRM & After-Sales Service
Participate in the formulation and implementation of the company standards of customer service
Propose initiatives to retain clients and help grow the customer database
Help implement CRM programs and promotions aimed at developing customer loyalty
Help implement client mailing (thank you notes, invitations or catalogues)
Assist the boutique managers in providing an excellent after-sales service; respond to and act upon customer complaints/requests
Update the international client and partner database

Merchandizing / Buying & management of the boutique inventory
Participate in the preparation of the product orders or new boutique assortments
Help create assortments for sales-driven events
Help prepare recommendations as per the need for new product developments
Assist the Retail Manager in rotating the stock between the various boutiques to achieve an optimum inventory situation
Update market pricelist

Boutique Operations
Follow up on the implementation of retail standards in all boutiques (uniforms, name tags, selection of drinks, sales tools etc)
Identify necessary improvements in boutiques and act upon them (need for renovation, touch up, change in fixtures etc)

Reporting and sales analysis
Help prepare the monthly retail reports and analyze sales/performance figures
Analyze and interpret trends to facilitate planning;
Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry and monitor what local competitors are doing
Create reports on various key subjects (pricing, competition etc)

Promotions and Sales-driven events
Help establish and execute joint-promotions with partners (hotels, restaurants, banking services etc)
Help plan and prepare private viewings or sales-driven events
Analyze the sales performance of each event and make recommendations for future events


Profile
2 to 5 years experience in the luxury industry, sales operations or marketing
Analytical, well organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects within tight timelines.
Dynamic with excellent communication skills
Fluent in Mandarin and English
