（1）岗位职责

应聘者将从事昆虫生物控制的基础应用和产业化应用研究，包括但不限于：

1.病毒与沃尔巴克氏体、蚊虫宿主之间的相互关系； 

2.沃尔巴克氏体的作用机制；

3.基于Wolbachia的新型微生物农药技术产业化；

（2）岗位要求

1.生物学博士，研究方向为昆虫学（包括医学昆虫或媒介生物学）或微生物学 （有胞内菌、共生菌或虫媒病毒背景者优先）；

2.掌握常规的分子生物学实验技术，有现场研究或田间试验经验者更佳；

3.能独立申请或承担研究课题，并带领团队进行攻关；

4.学习能力和团队合作精神强，尤其是具备与产业化团队和企业家合作和交流的能力；

5.具备较强的英语能力，在专业研究方向上能英文交流；

    广州威佰昆生物科技有限公司（以下简称“威佰昆”）致力于将昆虫共生菌沃尔巴克菌（Wolbachia）开发成一系列用于阻断虫媒病传播和防治农业害虫的生物农药。公司董事长奚志勇教授是全球通过显微胚胎注射技术使蚊子成功转染沃尔巴克菌的技术首创者，该技术开启利用沃尔巴克菌控制蚊媒病（登革、寨卡和疟疾）传播的新篇章。威佰昆已建成世界上***的蚊子工厂，专注于虫媒和虫媒病的防控，利用沃尔巴克菌控制蚊媒，防蚊灭蚊，消灭登革、寨卡和疟疾等由蚊子传播的重大传染病。同时，威佰昆正在积极研发沃尔巴克菌和射线不育控制农业害虫，并已取得重大进展。目前威佰昆开发的安全有效和绿色环保的微生物杀虫剂技术处于世界领先水平。我们的目标是在未来5到10年，成为国际上从事生物控制公共卫生和农业害虫的领袖企业！
Guangzhou Wolbaki Biotech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Wolbaki”) dedicates to develop the insect symbionts Wolbachia as novel insecticides to control both medically and agricultural important insect pests. Professor Xi Zhiyong, the company's CEO, is the inventor of Wolbachia transinfection of mosquitoes by microinjection technology, has opened a new chapter in the use of Wolbachia to control the spread of mosquito-borne diseases (dengue, Zika and malaria). To prevent the mosquito-borne disease, Wolbaki has built the world's largest mosquito factory for producing Wolbachia-infected males (“sterile males”) for suppressing wild mosquito population. Meanwhile, Wolbaki is actively developing the technology based on combination of Wolbachia and irradiation to control agricultural pests, and has made significant progress. Wolbaki aims at developing a series of bio-pesticide products infected with Wolbachia to pathogens the transmission of mosquito-borne diseases and control agricultural pests within the next 5 to 10 years.
