Purpose of Job: 

Create and maintain 2D & 3D Solidworks and NX CAD files based on design instruction from engineering and product teams.

Job Scope & Major Responsibilities:

1. Work with engineering and product teams to create CAD for all related projects per NPD schedules.

2. Create 3D parts using Solidworks and NX software for prototype and production.

3. Provide 2D engineering drawings, BOM to Spec Writer for spec creation. Work directly with suppliers to confirm documentation for specs.

4. Make suggestion to optimize the product design.

5. Generate new design concepts for US engineers, industrial designers and product teams to review.

6. Understand and follow up on the engineering change process.

7. Update weekly CAD project report.

8. Maintain CAD files of all Rawlings products and make sure the latest files are revised and saved accordingly.

9. Other assignment.

Requirements:

1. College degree or equivalent work experience, bachelor's degree preferred.

2. At least 3 years'experience with product design using Solidworks, NX or similar CAD software.

3. Familiar with molded plastic parts, both component design and tooling.

4. Good knowledge of product development process.

5. Familiar with Microsoft Office and related computer skills.

6. Good English communication skills, both oral and written.

7. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience communicating with all levels of personnel.

8. Self-motivated, independent and responsible.

9. Good team player.

10. Prior experience working with a foreign company is preferred.

11. Estimate 10% travel.
