Purpose of Job:

Support the Rawlings engineering group with writing specifications and managing the spec system.

Job Scope & Major Responsibilities:

1. Lead specification creation and maintenance projects. Maintain the specification database to make sure that any new specifications are created, and any changes/revisions are updated timely.

2. Work with engineering, sourcing, quality teams and suppliers to gather the necessary info to compile specifications for all new products.

3. Organize specification meetings and provide specification status updates.

4. Ensure smooth communication and cross-functional cooperation across all team members.

5. Participate in scheduled update meetings with the US that may fall outside of normal working hours, as needed.

Requirements:

1. college’s degree or equivalent work experience, major in English, communication, graphic design, Engineering or related field.

2. 3-5 years technical writing and literature design experience.

3. Familiar with product specification requirements.

4. Familiar with Microsoft Office and related computer skills.

5. Experience with Adobe Illustrator is preferred.

6. Experience with Oracle Product Hub is preferred.

7. Good English communication skills, both oral and written.

8. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience communicating with all levels of personnel.

9. Detail oriented with good organizational skills.

10. Good team player.

11. Prior experience working with foreign company is preferred.

12. Estimate 10% travel.
