What is Production? It's the place where design ideas are transformed into actual products. We are in over 20 sourcing markets and are the direct point of contact for local suppliers. We work to ensure our products are of good quality and produced at the best price and in a sustainable way.

    

 

    

Is this your next challenge?

    

As a Sustainability Developer, you will have ownership over the verification and reporting of supplier violations of the H&M environmental sustainability standards. You will also communicate improvements to the management team of suppliers and guide them in finding solutions. Your day to day work will be to conduct audits and project development activities while working in communication and cooperation with suppliers. In this role, you will join a dynamic and energetic team and you will report to the Sustainability Manager in your region. On top of that, you will interact with other colleagues of the Sustainability team, H&M suppliers and Supply Chain business teams.

There's a great team of people that you will collaborate with, both locally and internationally, who will share your ambition and help you achieve your goals. Together with the Regional Sustainability Manager, the rest of the sustainability team and our business teams, you will drive our sustainability agenda and identify and prioritise the short and long-term program activities of each specific market.

Who are you?

    

The person we are looking for will be working both with external and internal contacts to clarify requirements and to ensure our suppliers operate by H&M standards of working. The ideal candidate needs to have a good background in Environmental Sciences, Chemicals or Chemistry. Alongside this, we are looking for someone who has strong data analysis, statistics and stakeholder management skills preferably gained from government organizations focused on environmental issues. Strong communication will also be a key element when deciding who we will hire for the role as you will need to build relationships globally across H&M.
