The candidate who have strong communication skills, and strong executive ability to dealing with suppliers and internal committees, can be flexible to different approaches, a good team player and able to work under pressure.

With excellent academic background, are highly motivated for new technologies and are constantly looking for a challenge, have comprehensive analysis regarding market insights, supplier scouting and new innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Follow purchasing department’s policy, planning, budgeting to work out detail working plan

2.    Manage and develop the existing and potential supplier pool and update the Approved Vendor List

3.    Research, evaluate and propose suppliers for key commodity develop and optimize supplier data base

4.    Negotiate with local and international suppliers; prepare price comparisons；cost saving budgeting；

5.    Build and maintain cost structure for responsible commodity

6.    Complete frame contracts signature for responsible commodity

7.    Develop and recommend new material/equipment for stakeholder

8.    Monitor vendor quality performance, drive supplier continual improvement and verify improvement effectiveness

9.    Administration and reporting as necessary

Requirements:

1.    Minimum 8 years purchasing experience, event industry is a plus.

2.    Strong sense in conducting purchasing process.

3.  Has good experience in vendor management, Carpentry background /project management experience is a plus

4.    Excellent communication skills. Able to demonstrate success and experience about managing suppliers and contracts

5.    Strong responsibility self-motivated and can work under high pressure

6.    Flexible, patient and solution-focused

7.    Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word

8.    University degree

9.    Fluent in Mandarin and English
