THE ROLE

We are looking for a Guangzhou-based Search Manager who will be the central person closest to the detail and activation intricacies for our client HSBC Bank, understanding the nuts and bolts of paid search that make a digital strategy work.

The ideal candidate must have a passion and strong experience in digital advertising and technology. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of Search Engine planning & buying and how data driven decisions can impact the outcome. Previous supervision & campaign management experience is required.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

The SEM Manager is responsible for optimization and monitoring campaign performance. He/she must possess excellent active listening skills to understand client needs and translate those needs into campaign objectives. He or she must work collaboratively with their peers, reporting progress and optimize trading tactics, sharing trading and campaign insights with the group.

Key Job Responsibilities

·         Develops campaign components including keywords, copy, landing page selection, account structure etc.

·         Manages budgets towards performance goals and proactively proposes solutions to improve ROI

·         Responsible for day to day trafficking, test execution, optimization and troubleshooting

·         Prepares routine and ad-hoc reports in response to client and internal manager questions and requests

·         Executes competitive monitoring and analysis

·         Participates in cross-functional initiatives to better understand client’s service offerings

·         Interfaces with leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and to identify and deliver new solutions for clients

·         Formulate Paid Search strategy for client businesses and ensure that recommendations and decisions are consistent with client’s objectives and strategies

·         Present innovative, business building Paid Search recommendations within the digital realm
