Job Title:       Retail HR Manager - China

Reports to:   Head of Retail China

Division:       Retail

Location:      Panyu, Guangzhou, China

Job Objective

The objective of this position is to provide manage the Retail Talents in APM Monaco China. Working alongside the key leaders in China on driving and executing people initiatives, including but not limited to talent acquisition/ management, C&B review and employee engagement programs. 

 

The Role

Talent Acquisition

·  Responsible for candidate’s selection process in an active manner so as to attract, retain and motivate qualified     

   prospects to join APM Monaco.

·  Conduct exploratory interviews to develop candidate pipeline; support the business units on recruiting needs.

·  Take an actively role in designing and developing recruitment process and systems to improve hiring efficiency.

·  Manage key research and staffing vendor relationships and work closely with recruitment partners on recruitment  

   issues.

    

Talent Management

·  Manage general staffing process including new staff on-board, exit process,       internal promotion & transfer and  

   ensure that up to date confidential records are kept.

·  Manage employment contract and yearly contract renewal, reviewing and monitoring end dates of employment 

   contracts and ensuring that renewals are issued in good time.

·  Review and manage the appraisal process.

Compensation & Benefits

·  Monitor overall China compensation & benefit schemes to maintain company's competitiveness in both attracting & 

   retaining the talents while still keep in line with approved budget.

·  Maintain knowledge of current human resources and benefit trends, employment laws, governmental compliance and 

   company policies.

·  Track key information/maintain reports pertaining to: store census, turnover trends, compensation data and employee 

   relations issues.

·   To co-ordinate with finance department on payroll administration.

  

Skills and Work Experience

·  Bachelor’s Degree or above

·  5+ years of relevant experience from luxury retail brands

·  Honest, open, and non-hierarchical attitude.

·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·  Strong prioritization and organizational skills

·  Driven to execute efficiently and accurately.

·  The desire to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.

·  Computer and system literate.

·  Fluent in English & Mandarin; French or Cantonese is a plus.

·  Working location - Panyu Guangzhou.

·  Occasional travel is required.
