Role Title: Senior Consultant Specialist
Business: Data Services
Role Purpose / Description
- Product Owner “owns” the requirements.
- Responsible for collecting and eliciting requirements from the end users/business functions during epic planning
- Create and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and backlog of work regularly throughout the project's life cycle using JIRA
- Owns the product/market backlog
- Translate the business requirements into user stories during epic planning
- Manages stakeholder expectations
- Updates use cases /user stories backlog in Confluence
- Supports definition of the user stories
- Supports sprint planning by clarifying user stories/queries development
- Confirms acceptance of demo aligning to business requirements
- Main point of contacts between the business and squad team

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
- Good awareness of global strategic direction and vision
- Good awareness and understanding of other initiatives in domain to leverage re-use and/or best practice
- Good awareness and understanding on the technologies in the service, e.g. GCP, API, reporting
- Strong domain expertise e.g. Risk, Finance, etc.
- Ability to analyse and design business processes
- Ability to develop User Stories based on input gathered from a variety of sources.
- Ability to review the outcome of the Sprint demo for completeness and quality
- Able to prioritise user stories according to business expectations and interest
- Good communication and facilitation skills
- Skills to communicate with end users and also with the squad teams
- Knowledge of Change Management
- Familiar with JIRA and Confluence to log user stories and manage product backlog
