Responsibilities

 * Responsible for the growth and financial success of their products
 * Owns new product developments, works closely with global sales, strategic marketing, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and quality departments to drive new products through the Nordson New Product Development process.
 * Understands the corresponding markets and conducts competitive analysis for similar products.
 * Identifies market/customer needs and opportunities and translates into product requirements. Validates new product requests.
 * Works closely with marketing communications to develop branding, promotion and product launch strategies.
 * Collaborates effectively with global sales organizations to manage forecasts.
 * Establishes pricing on existing products and new product introductions.
 * Manages product support throughout product lifecycle, including product changes and derivative product development as well as discontinuation and obsolescence planning.
 * Creates and distributes product specific training content in collaboration with marketing communications.
 * Coordinates the creation and distribution of product specific advisories and communications (i.e. product advisories, Technigrams, etc.)
 * Develops and maintains product configurators as necessary
 * Work closely with engineering to provide sales and customer product knowledge and support

POSITIONS REQUIRMENTS

 * University degree in marketing or engineering
 * MBA or other advanced marketing degree preferred
 * Experience in industrial electrical / machinery environments
 * Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, sales or engineering position
 * Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese
 * Willingness to learn new market, technical and application knowledge
 * Excellent communication skills
 * 20% Travel
 * Creative and strategic thinker
