In particular, the technology department of GB&M Fixed Income and Balance Sheet Management (FI & BSM) in HSDC is a strategic partner to our global business delivering advanced technology systems, wide-ranging expertise, and innovative solutions.The FI & BSM department has a global network where our teams in United Kingdom, Paris, United States, Middle East, Hong Kong and Guangzhou connect with each other to pool expertise, knowledge and experience, and this opens up the door for our business to new opportunities, more efficient processes, increased margins and helps drive reductions in the Bank's cost base.Work here and you will be involved in projects dealing with front-to-back exchanges, portals and all trade lifecycles, utilizing market leading and cutting edge technologies. We are providing high end solutions covering cross-product Front Office System – xFOS/XARA/eBench that serve the trading and balance sheet management (BSM) need, powered by the vendor platform Murex, and in-house platforms XARA & eBench, to support wide range of FICC products including Spots, Forwards, Swaps, Bonds, FRAs, FX Options, and Metals. In recent years, BSM has significant demand from business to deliver number of high profile projects. ? Provide production support, communicate with business to answer queries, handle issue, problem investigation and mitigation
? Continuously improve the platform in usability, capacity and performance perspectives
? Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business contacts
? Work closely with architect, feature team to ensure project delivery to the business within the agreed timeframes, cost and levels of quality
? Ensure compliance with all relevant internal control standards and external regulatory requirements

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications
? A minimum of 10 year working experience in the Finance area, preferably in production system support
? Knowledge on treasury products, treasury trading and front office operations, preferably in Money Market and Fixed income products
? Highly developed reasoning and analytical skills
? Outstanding influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills
? Excellent communication and presentation skills
? Fluent in written and spoken English
? A highly-motivated individual with positive and proactive attitude
? Experience on Murex (in particular, v3.1) and one or more components: MxML Exchange, Datamart, Market Data, Simulation View
? Understanding of FpML, FIX, HSBCCF
? Working in a global team with different cultures
? Working in different locations around the globe
? Technology Role / Skillset including but not limited to one of the following –
? Developer – Java / C++, SQL/Sybase, GitHub/JIRA/Jenkins/Confluence
? Support – Flash, xMatter, RTC, Control-M, GSD
