Role Title: Senior Software Engineer
Business: Risk IT
Role Purpose / Description
- Configuring tooling and MSSQL parameter after build
- Troubleshooting any technical issues independently
- Communicating delivery schedules with the stakeholders and escalating timely whenever risk found
- Arranging the Change Management Process by following bank policy
- Non-office hours work maybe required base on the Change policy or project requirement
- Ensure all the inventory are updated correctly
- Ensure all the deliverable meet quality standards
- Arranging vendors to perform application installation and perform on-site inspection upon completion
- Ensure service deployed according to Cyber Security and Service Continuity standard
- Ensure supporting systems, infrastructure and applications are monitored to detect exception events and ensure timely action to prevent / reduce service degradation / interruption.
- Ensure a systematic approach is in place to manage incidents occurring to the Service with the objective to restore normal service or operation as quickly as possible & ensure problem records are efficiently managed, to prevent incidents from occurring and minimizing the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented.
- Ensure the Service utilizes technology that does not put it in a position of obsolescence or non-support from a vendor or vulnerabilities, security threats.
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including performance, availability, and security
- Ensure patch deployment schedules are created and within timeframes based on patch criticality
- Maintain Clustering, replication, log shipping, mirroring
- Ensure all accounts and associated entitlements are appropriate to the user
- May need to work in flexible working hours

职位要求：
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
- Degree Holder in Computer Science or a related field
- Sound knowledge in SQL Server 2008R2, 2012, 2014 and 2016 technologies
- Experience in SQL Server High availability technologies like Clustering, Mirroring, Replication, Log shipping
- Experience with database backup / recovery methodologies
- Strong performance tuning skills
- Experience with SQL Server DTS, SSIS, SSRS and reporting service is a plus.
- ITIL V3 Foundation certification in IT Service Management an advantage
- Holder of IT Technical certificates such as MCP/MCSE is an added advantage
- Track record in server, storage and project management would also be a distinct advantage
- Knowledge in Cloud Technology an advantage
- Well-developed communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and independent personality with the ability to function effectively in a team
- Able to communicate in English
