Role Title: Architect ManagerBusiness: Commercial Banking IT Role Purpose / Description: IT lead architect for Commercial banking projects
-Establish/Drive strategic technology roadmap that meet business development plan
-Manage relationship with key stake holders in Business/IT/external parties
-Derive /Define IT solutions to business requirements whilst aligning to IT strategies and standards
-Lead and drive the agile/Devops culture
-Lead/support/develop a team of digital solution architects
-Lead and Drive knowledge transfer
best practice and strategic alignment with IT areas

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
Responsibilities and Soft skills
-Design a scalable, secure reusable end to end solutions for Commercial Banking business
-Define standard for system integration into the HSBC digital platforms
-Provide oversight of system development across all work streams ensuring adherence to standards and maximizing reuse.
-Ability to create clear, concise proposals for solutions and brokering agreement across multiple stakeholders. Strong experience of working with stakeholders across multiple disciplines
business analysts, product owners, testing teams and wider technical stakeholders. Define and sell a vision, but with the ability to deliver incrementally and provide immediate value to the stakeholders.
-Demonstrates excellent situational awareness and ability to appropriately react to a changing landscape
-Performance driven nature and excellent problem solving capability
-Ability to understand and further explain complex technical concepts
Technical Skills and Experience
-Hands on Experience of Enterprise solutions both and architecture and development context
-Experience of defining Java frameworks and development of coding standards
-Experience with responsive application design
-Knowledge of both front end and back end frameworks like, Angular, Vue or Backbone, or Spring boots ect.
-Understanding of authentication and entitlements architecture and standards
-Understanding of content management and CDN solutions
-Experience of delivering and leading in large scale multi work streams programs
-Exposure to API/Cloud/Block Chain/DLT is a definite advantage
Education Requirements
-University degree in a technical discipline.
-Relevant industry certifications.
