Role Title: Consultant Specialist Business: Global Banking Markets IT
Role Purpose / Description
? The Prime Finance Margin and Risk IT Team requires a Full Stack Engineering to be part of the team for on-going development in and around the Equity Prime Finance Margin and Risk systems. The application is a global application which servicing business users, based in the UK, HK and US. We calculate Margin and Risk number for Prime clients on daily base, and deliver Margin and Risk reports to related businesses.
? To ensure IT can continue to support the business and the IT plan, a person with Full Stack Engineering skills is urgently required to be part of this DevOps team. Main Responsibilities
? Java developments from the translation of Functional Specifications and business requirement
? Creation of technical specifications where applicable
? Peer/Code reviewing across development independently managing assigned project deliverables against project plans
? Production of software delivery artefacts and all relevant accompanying documentation
? Assisting in designing and overseeing execution of the test plans
? High level of Quality Control, through use of JUnit or other tools
? Working with product owner to produce optimal delivery requirements
? Working with the business where necessary to facilitate new developments
? Progress and status reporting to immediate management for owned work streams

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
? Computing related degree and qualified
? 5-7 years hands on IT application development using Java or other Object-Oriented languages
? Fast Learner and thinker - to be able to contribute to the approach and innovation
? Able to work in a flexible, collaborative way while displaying a high degree or personal responsibility and initiative
? Commitment to quality and ownership of the delivery
? Self-motivated and enthusiastic Skills
? Knowledge of Java/J2EE, both web-based and core Java development
? Knowledge of web servers and web development technologies
? Knowledge and experience with Agile
? Familiar with both Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
? Must be able to communicate effectively and work with business users
? MDX query development is definitely a plus
? Micro-service development is definitely a plus
