Role Title: Lead Architect
Business: OSS - Operations Shared Services Role Purpose / Description
? Play as technical leader to transit the Payment systems into microservices architecture
design the roadmap and participate for the full deployment of microservices to the Cloud platform
? Lead the development and drive the adoption of an integration strategy for Payment systems with particular focus on use of APIs
? Manage a squad teams of developers performing system development work and system analysis
? Participate in the system integration activities with other teams and make sure the solution complies with group architecture policies and standards
? Ensure the design is the optimal commercial solution
? Manage relationships across HSBC IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure Delivery and Operations & Cyber Security Application Development team areas on an on-going basis.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
? A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
? A minimum of 8 years' IT software development and system design experiences, preferably in an enterprise or a global environment
? Experience in delivering software in Banking or Financial Institution environment
? Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills
excellent team player with ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision, pro-actively and under pressure against multiple deadlines
? Strong Java, Sprint Boot, Sprint Cloud, Sprint MVC, Micro-service, JSON, RMAL knowledge
? Strong technical knowledge on the use and development of RESTFul APIs and technologies, exposure to technologies such as Mulesoft would be an advantage
? Experience in Cloud technologies (Google GCP / Amazon AWS / Microsoft Azure, APIs, Mulesoft, Docker, Kubernetes)
? Strong knowledge of architecture discipline and the ability put the governance into practice, knowledge of industry standard architecture frameworks would be an advantage
? Excellent communication skills, documentation skills and presentation skills, professional in oral and written English
? Flexible and adaptable in accommodating change of requirement and willing to take new responsibilities when necessary
? Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative, passion for technology
? Excellent mentoring skills
? Strong business and technical knowledge on Payment Systems would be a definite advantage.
