Role Purpose / Description

Principal responsibilities We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Service Lead, ASP Operations IT
Operations is HSBC’s largest global function, employing 36,000 colleagues around the world, it provides processing, oversight and delivery of customer services for HSBC Global Business and Functions. Working closely with Operations, Operations IT delivers products and services in ways that are simpler, better and faster, making HSBC the bank of choice for customer. Through the Operations Transformation Program, we invest in in technology, innovation, processes and people to fulfill the vision of “Think 2030”.
? Playing an integral role in supporting ASP Business Services Operations Heads and Global Business/Global Functions IT parities to develop and implement business strategy
? Participating actively in service portfolio planning, understanding pain points and priorities, articulating our service value proposition to address business’s needs
? Analyzing solution trends against business needs, formulating innovative IT business solutions across ASP markets
? Leading the internal team to present solutions to stakeholder to obtain buy in.
? Acting as a trusted advisor to provide best-in-class business service consultancy
? Executing daily delivery activities, balancing scope, liaising with respective IT teams to resolve IT related issues
? Reporting, managing and monitoring issues, dependencies and risks to the program management, internal stakeholders and/or steering committees.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
? Degree holder in Information Technology or related disciplines
? Strong domain knowledge in Operations Business Services in banking industry as well as understanding of individual markets
? Sound experience in IT project management. Strong track record in partnering to drive projects to conclusion with excellent execution
? Excellent presales or consultative skills and ability to form strong business relationships at all levels
? Strong background in developing compelling value propositions, seen as a trusted advisor and communication skills to deal with senior executives
? A customer-centric focus with strong commercial sense.
? Demonstrated ability to lead and influence senior executives across multiple business units and functions
? Experience leading a small team while also having direct accountability for solutions
? Excellent communication skill in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
? Travel may be required on a need basis
