Currently we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Python for our Shenzhen office to make the team stronger.

Responsibilities

• Write reusable, testable and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability and performant applications
• Design/integrate user-facing elements for visualizing analysis reports
• Take part in implementation of security and data protection
• Integrate data storage solutions

 

Requirements

• Expert in Python; familiarity with event-driven programming, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django,Tornado
• Prior data processing experience such as Matplotlib/Seaborn/Plotly/Pandas is highly appreciated
• Familiarity with ORM such as SQLAlchemy and lower level RDBMS connectors
• Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python and multi-process architecture
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jinja 2, Mako
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3, React is a plus
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Comfortably working with plural teams, with diverse cultures in diverse locations
• Ability to communicate with senior executives, especially with technical leaders

Nice to have

• Experience in development with Linux environment and know Linux Shell
• Experience in HTML, JavaScript
• Ability to communicate with clients on a regular basis to clarify business requirements
