Role Title:Senior Software Engineer

Business: Global Banking & Markets IT

 

Role Purpose / Description

Contribute in successful delivery of projects by providing technical / application guidance to project teams.

The responsibilities entail areas such as

? Participate in estimation and Requirement analysis.

? Design & Coding: Develop / review the technical design.Hands on coding is required

? Reviews: Conduct review of design/code/test plan, test results and deployment as per plan. Work on automating the reviews.

? Suggest and validate best practices across the SDLC and assist in implementing them along with standards

? Communicate with the relevant stake holder regarding resolving technical issues related to delivery of projects

? Conducing knowledge sharing

? Update with future technology / application trends, collaborate with Architect / Project teams and provide feedback.

 

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

- University graduate degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline.   hands

-on UI or Java development experience over 4+ years. Will be required to do the coding/testing/production support. 

- Technical experience in UX development using HTML5 (React JS/ Angular JS). With both Java and React JS experience is an advance.   

- Programming languages: Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL

-  Oracle database development experience

-  Good knowledge on Spring framework, in particular Spring Cloud (Eureka, Zuul etc.) is an advance.

-  Good understanding of REST API design development, preferrably in Swagger

-  Solid Exerience on application security development and implementation

- Oauth/OpenAM etc.-  With automated CI/CD experience

-  Effective English writing and communication

-  Key team player, collaborative and willingness to explore new technology

-  Good knowledge on latest technology working experience is an advance

-  Have Agile project/Devops experience is advantaged.
