Lead the local technology organization across all Lines of business, operational and/or technological change. Represent IT in different JPMorgan china steering committee, discuss and negotiate topics/schedules in mandarin

Face off to relevant regulators for all technology matters, these include, PBOC, CBRC, etc

Has "end to end" responsibility Location technology Human/Non-Human assets and processes

Assists in setting ongoing direction and strategy for the CIB technology organization in China

Advances that strategy by aligning their functional group's efforts to the overall business objectives.

Builds and leverages partnerships across business groups to deliver innovative solutions. .

Work directly with China regulation IT department, on technical requirement, discussions and trouble shooting in Mandarin.

Manage vendors in Mandarin and build up vendor relationship. Negotiate with vendor on behalf of JPMorgan. Follow TPO process and make sure vendor abide by JPMorgan rules.

Assist the Business and AD to manage strategic and tactical goals, and improvement deliverables

Partner with business on revenue, control and cost initiatives from inception. Including supporting and participating in client dialogue, RFP’s and pitches.

Build a strong relationship with the business and AD leads– provides senior point of contact for business and business management.

Manage production application and infrastructure environment to reduce the volume of production incidents and impact through.

Developing talent and the organization

Ensure the relevant controls are in place and manage regulatory and auditable actions

Manage all infrastructure for the Local Branch Footprint across businesses

Manage and control production costs

Accountable for complying with all applicable local regulations pertaining to technology including regulatory submissions.

Maintain strong working relationships with regulators, industry bodies, clearing houses and stock exchanges.

Represent Technology in all location management forums and committees.

Chair the Technology Operating committee, maintain the organizational Fabric across the location.

Accountable for the Controls and Risk environment and clean Audits.

Align objectives and deliverables to the global branches technology organization

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field
• Minimum 5-10 years of project management or IT Management with at least 3-5 years experience in investment banking, research and/or management consulting
• Should be a hands on techno-functional expert in one or more of the following Businesses – Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Markets , Liquidity , Equity ,FX, Investor services , Brokerage and Agency, Fixed Income and Rates and Asset servicing .
• Fluent in Mandarin , Read, write and Speak
• Should have a working knowledge of Technology infrastructure. Knowledge of financial Sector technology and operations a plus
• Experience of trading system and regulatory applications and business flows is also a plus
• Experience of managing troubleshooting – front/back-end application processes
• Structured thinker with strong analytical, research and financial skills
• Ability to gather input from multiple sources and synthesize into actionable recommendations
• Excellent, succinct communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven leader who manages a team comprised of IT managers across multiple job families (Application Development Software Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, and Support, Data Management, Project management etc
• Establishes and maintains working relationships with the various different businesses and support function leads
• Ability to drive continuous improvement in process, people and products
• Ability to independently drive consulting-style analytic projects
