Job Description:
1 Establish and manage IQC function metrics and goals (DTS rate, QN rate, efficiency, etc.) to meet customer, regulatory and Jabil specified requirements.
2 Monitor IQC performance against the goals and take necessary corrective / preventive actions when the goals are not met.
3 Recruit capable IQC staff, develop their competency, motivate people for best performance and retain high calibres.
4 Conduct regular performance review of IQC staff; determine people promotion, job arrangement and pay adjustment.
5 Communicate with engineering team when necessary for full understanding of customer specification and requirements.
6 Feedback to engineering team and SQE/QE for inspection issues to support establishment of proper CAF/IP and measurement/testing methods.
7 Identify training needs of IQC team, ensure adequate training be provided in terms of Jabil operating procedures, work instructions, customer requirements and other necessary items.
8 Manage IQC daily activities to ensure incoming material be inspected with full compliance to CAF/IP.
9 Ensure all tools and equipments are calibrated and maintained in proper order to fulfill inspection needs.
10 Maintain appropriate levels of operational supplies and supporting equipment.
11 Provide support such as sample measurement to engineering team and SQE/QE for solving supplier quality issues when needed.
12 Deal with customer / third party audits related to IQC operations; provide improvement actions for findings identified.
13 Lead IQC for continual improvement through activities such as lean projects.
14 Review equipments, fixtures, tools and manpower required to ensure the IQC have proper resources to fulfil customer requirements.

General Requirements:
1 Familiar with IQC operation with knowledge in inspection sampling plan, engineering specification/drawing, mechanical/electrical part inspection, measurement/testing equipment management, measurement system analysis, quality tools, etc.
2 Experience in customer service is highly desirable.
3 Proven experience in one or more market sectors that Jabil serves (i.e. Consumers, Medical, Automotive, Industrial) is preferred.
4 Excellent skills in written and oral English.
5 Demonstrated skills in leadership, effective communication and problem solving.6 Willing to travel when required
