Responsibility Level:
-Overall responsibility to improve the supply base quality and capability level, to support the company growth and profitability, with right supply base of the right cost, quality, technology and service.
-Support New Projects launches as needed.
Typical Duties:
-Maintain and combine Supplier Scorecard of each plant.
-Develop and implement the Supplier Performance and Process Capability Improvement projects plan based on the Scorecard and audit finding.
-Develop and support suppliers the continuous improvement plan for the purchasing processes.
-Lead and execute Supplier Audit (PSA, annually, special audits, and others), including planning, establishing team, report and non-conformance correction follow up.
-Develop training course according to supplier performance and company strategy plan. Organize and make the training as coacher.
-Support quality problem solving in plants and JVs.
-Support new projects launches as required.
-Support the SD managers and commodity manager in risk management of supply base, e.g. supplier M&A, financial difficulties, lawsuit, capacity, people instability.
-Collect related Government Regulations and Policies, and gives advice on how to comply.
-Plan and facilitate IT enablers for purchasing.
-Assist in departmental data management
-Other duties as required.


REQUIREMENTS:
-Highly motivated, and proactive. Good negotiation skills. Good communication skills. Team working with JVs and other BUs. High ethic and integrity level.
-Bachelor's degree.
-2-3 years experience in automobile field of manufacturing, quality, program management.
-Must have demonstrated computer skills, including use of Excel and Power Point
-Fluent English and Mandarin
-Be familiar with PPAP/8D Report/FMEA


WORKING CONDITIONS:
-Position is in an office environment and requires frequent travel.
