Purpose of position:

1. A member of advance purchasing team, in charge of integrating the best suppliers align with global commodity into our developments

2. QCD (Quality, cost and Delivery) objectives can be met, in line with the project schedule

3. Guarantee new sourcing approval procedures are follow strictly.

4. Focus on powertrain(PWT) electronics project sourcing, strong link with PWT R&D for key topics, support to PWT projects to ensure on time development and cost target

 

Job Responsibilities:

1.Project sourcing, work in offer, initiative and project development with project teams, buyer, SDE,etc

2. Knowledge Sourcing procedure, Management of RFQs (requests for quotation)

3. Track all project schedules, assuring that all new projects are in time and without any risk of delay;

4. Responsible for sourcing of new parts with global commodity manager in a timely manner to support program launch

5 Demonstrate responsiveness by meeting timing on purchase orders for new programs, engineering change or other running change

6 Achieve direct material saving target of responsible commodity teams by developing material cost improvement action plans and using various tools including cost management

7 Understand and follow global commodity team and shanghai regional strategy to manage the supplier base, attend regular commodity team meeting and global buyer business plan review.

8 Screen, identity, develop strong local supplier base to support localization target

9. Production supports - coordinate and support supplier issues of payment & delivery etc.

10. Support achievement overall supplier quality objectives

11 Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and internal business controls.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor or above, major in electronics or relevant, familiar with PCBA component.

2. 5 years’ experience in Automobile industry, familiar with electrical parts

3. Familiar with supplier market of electronics and technologies relative to semi-conductor commodity, expose the opportunities and risks

4. Professional behavior, good communication and negotiation skill, able to manage the conflict

5. Good interpersonal skills, strong business sense and team player

6. Good command of English,Knowledg and skills about TS16949 ,Hardworking and adaptive to new environment
