Essential Responsibilities
• Lead the Contract Margin Review process for assigned contracts
• Be Responsible for continuously managing the profitability of assigned contracts
• Provide Customer Service Agreement (CSA) contract information to contract managers
• Assure timely resolution of issues for assigned contracts
• Function as liaison between internal GE organizations involved in contract profitability
• Participate in technical, business, and contractual discussions as needed
• Drive productivity execution, auditing and tracking by contract
• Lead regular program updates for internal management
• Analyze contract trends, perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions
• Lead contract profitability process standardization activities
• Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership, and compliance
• Support Technical analysis of contract modeling for assigned CMRs & Technical / Commercial Actions
Role Summary/Purpose
The Lead Contract Performance Specialist leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business or is a recognized expert in a specialized field. In the Lead Contract Performance Specialist role, you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract / technical program management field or financial analysis
Desired Characteristics
• Experience in application / analysis of Technical and/or Financials models
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
• Six Sigma green belt or black belt certification is preferred
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external organizations, including upper management
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, influence and leadership skills
