Essential Responsibilities 

Reporting to the Regional C&B Manager the Lead Region Specialist will work not only as a member of the GE Aviation C&B team, but also as a project leader. They will take lead on projects from their initial idea to implementation that align with the business plans, goals and objectives of GE Aviation and our clients. The Lead C&B Specialist also will:


? Demonstrate a thorough understanding of processes supporting the company’s annual compensation cycle and lead the execution of those processes.  

? Partner with C&B Manager and Global Compensation Practices team to execute:

o Salary survey participation – prepare and of submit data files and benefit questionnaires 

o Market data analysis – mastery of GE Aviation compensation data analytics software, development of draft market pricing and draft salary structures.  o Merit review – mastery of AVI merit philosophy & merit review software; support to HRBPs across multiple geographies o Bonus pay-out – first point of contact for escalation queries; collaboration with global compensation team 

? Provide leadership on renewals of benefit programs for selected countries with HRBPs and brokers with focus on post-renewal activities. This may include: vendor set up/validation, approval routing validation, invoicing process, updates to joiner/leaver documentation, updates to HR Ops, payroll and other teams per interdependencies. Document renewal outcomes in benefits tracker. 
? Leads divestiture and post-merger integration projects across the Region as they arise. 
? Proactively analyse existing company processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend streamlining and efficiency gains. 
? Participate in survey and structure process as needed to support the business. 
? Develop and keep up-to-date knowledge of company’s global programs including: stock purchase plans, reward & recognition, short-term incentive plans, sales compensation.  
? Provide expert advice to HRPBs who escalate their own or employee queries to C&B. 
? Support HRMs and Region C&B Manager in development and reviews of complex individual and/or group compensation reviews.



Qualifications/Requirements : 

o Bachelors of Arts, Science or Business Administration   

o 5+ years of experience in Reward function with exposure to both compensation and benefits processes and programs in multinational companies or large corporations at corporate/regional/global level  

o Fluent English and Mandarin
