Essential Responsibilities
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources
• Interpret large data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Ensure proper definition of data needs, evaluation of data quality, and recommend appropriate statistical analysis; for critical projects
• Work on core data aggregation, validation and algorithms development and implement them using technology chosen
• Optimize current data process flow, create reusable data process module for frequent usage and process, and improve data process efficiency and stability

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor/Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms e.g. regression/classification, clustering
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and other data manipulation tools
• Experience with databases (SQL etc.) and programming (SQL, VBA, R, Python)
• Understanding data science skills e.g. feature selection/extraction, model validation
• Strong rational ability, communication, inter-personal, and presentation skills
Desired Characteristics
• Demonstrated quick learner and willingness to learn aviation knowledge
• Experience in design, develop and deploy state-of-art, data-driven descriptive analysis and predictive models to solve problems
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with data analytics and process improvement
