Role Summary/Purpose

Work closely with headquarter and cross function teams for design/analysis on engine externals in NPI and legacy programs.

Rout cause analysis and provide technical solution for engine external issues from manufacturing, assembly or customer.

Essential Responsibilities

• Execute the design, analysis, and test of engine external configuration and EBU (Engine Build Up) hardware of assigned projects using engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices and program requirements.
• Communicate with assembly plant and supplier to solve installation or manufacturing problems.
• Rout cause analysis for external hardware issues in the field or during flight test.
• Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers
• Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects/tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Qualifications Required

• Master’s degree, or equivalent, in mechanical/physical engineering discipline
• Solid verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Chinese
• Self-confident and a quick learner

Desired Characteristics

• Proficient with Analysis software, prefer ANSYS
• Experience on Static/Modal/Spectrum/Harmonic Analysis to solve vibration/fatigue issues.
