Job Description


Do you want to play a leadership role in driving change within the Microsoft Services organization?


As a Landing Lead within the Asia time zone you will be tasked with leading the execution of major operations change initiatives for your assigned program(s), implementing and landing the key processes and tools that constitute Services Common Operating Platform.


Reporting to the Director of the Services Business Operations Landing team, this high-profile role requires strong change management experience and the ability to influence successfully in a highly matrixed environment. This role requires a collaborative business leader who can facilitate the interaction between Corp and the field and drive complex behavioral change within the organization.


Key responsibilities:


• Implementation and Landing: Effective change management & field adoption of a portfolio of strategic processes and tools in the time zone.

o Using standard process and templates, develop customized change management strategies based on the change impact and audience

o Collaborate across multiple teams to facilitate field enablement and feedback

o Monitor and review field change adoption and implement resistance mitigation and reinforcement strategies

• Collaboration: Engage with field partners to gain insight into pain points and feedback, and facilitate discussions to feed that into process and tool improvement initiatives. Partner with your key stakeholders in HQ, Domain & Account aligned leadership teams, ROC and other Field focused teams to drive adoption of processes and tools.

• Stakeholder Management: Build relationships and partner with business partners, including but not limited to: Domains, Account Aligned leadership, SBO, CDCO, partner Landing and Enablement teams, ROC, GESO. Ensure that business issues, concerns and priorities are well understood and can be factored into product and tool roadmaps. Understand Services goals and related SBO roadmaps and provide visibility to Field teams.

• Frameworks and standards: Work with the WWSOL team to establish and evolve solid frameworks and standards for change management.


Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in computer science, operations, business administration, or equivalent

• 6+ years of work experience in IT, operations or business management

• Strong understanding of and experience in the Microsoft Enterprise Services organization and operations at all levels

• Proven change management skills – with CM qualification/certification preferred

• Hands-on experience in driving change in complex matrix environments

• Proven experience in virtual leadership position

• Strong verbal and written communication skills at the executive level

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive change through influence

• Demonstrated Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment

• Willingness to travel 25% of the time or more
