POSITION OBJECTIVE

-To provide professional project management services to the customers who purchase EPM multi B.U.s'field instrument products by adopting PMI project Body of Knowledge on project management.
-To simplify the customer interfaces with EPM in FIV projects and streamline the work processes.
-To be involved in FIV project pursuit activities in order to identify and understand upfront the project scope,potential risks and key project control points.
-To obtain great customer satisfactions in terms of the value delivered over the FIV project executions and secure customer loyalty with EPM businesses.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Participate in FIV project pursuit efforts.
2. Lead and supervise the project group to ensure the effective management and implementation of all projects assigned to the group.
3. Manage and implement the projects complying with National regulations, the company policies and standards as well as fulfilling the contractual specifications.
4. Schedule management. Obtain and understand owner's and/or EPCs' master schedules. Produce and update FIV project execution schedules. Actively monitor the project progress status, identify schedule gaps and take control actions and efforts on schedule recovery. Communicate, coordinate and expedite among B.U.s' sales and project teams as well as manufacturing facilities to ensure on time deliveries for contractual goods and services.
5. Scope management and change handling.
6. Procurement management for field instrument buyout inclusive of vendor qualification, setting up and negotiating commercial terms & conditions, proposal review and screening, preparation of purchase requisition and obtaining necessary approvals, deliveries and shipping logistics, invoicing and payment settlement, coordinating site services related to field instrument buyout scope.
7. Package management to ensure the standardization in executing the FIV Frame Purchase Agreement and upsell EPM products.
8. Identify project risks/challenges, generate mitigation action plan and be responsible for implementation.
9. Ensure the contract commitments are met. Commercial contract management and payment collections.
10. Generate comprehensive project progress reporting normally on a monthly basis. Highlight potential project risks that are going to commercial and cost impacts, provide recommendations and proposals to keep or bring the project on track.
11. Ensure the project documents are delivered by the B.U.s' teams as per the specifications and requirements as stipulated in the contracts.
12. Be able to work at customer site to lead the whole project team for the site service activities.
13. Be able to organize and/or participate in the project meetings internally with B.U.s'sales and operation force, externally with outside project stakeholders. Ensure smooth and adequate communications among project stakeholders by means of phone calls, email messages and/or face to face meetings.
14. Achieve and improve customer satisfactions on the project implementation.
15. Be able to summarize the lessons learned over the project implementation phase and wrap-up project close-out packages for handover to ensure customers will get continued support and services from EPM B.U.s and Rapid Response Centre.
16. Build up effective team on FIV project executions.
17. Complete other job assigned by EPM China Service department.

All the field instrument projects that have been identified as CPAC projects (FIV) by EPM China
management team and assigned to this position.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
1. Degree in Engineering. Preferred field of Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation or Process Automation.
2. Fluent communication skills in English and Chinese languages.
3. Minimum of 8 years experience in the process automation industry.
4. Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
5. Have basic knowledge of Control System (DCS/SIS) and Field Instruments.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Good planning and priority management.
8. Strong communication skill in both formal and informal environments.
