The job family spans across multiple engineering disciplines. Work consists of designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting and debugging systems, software and solutions for research and/or research development of product, services, and solutions for HP's portfolio. Requires a broad knowledge and application of engineering disciplines, methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

The engineer will lead the scanner/ auto document feeder manufacturing activities from NPI to EOL. He/ She will develop, implement and manage the assembly, test and packaging of the Scanner/ ADF assets, controlling their cost, quality, time to market, and subsequent changes and development. He/ She will collaborate with GBU, internal cross-functional teams and the manufacturing partner. He/ She will also provide day-to-day technical support to the manufacturing partner and drive continuous improvements.He/She will provide leadership, planning & organization in NPI transition and current production management.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering

-Minimum 3-5 years experience in a mass production environment

Knowledge and Skills

-Knowledgeable in Industrial Engineering and Quality Management.

-Experience with statistical application such as Design of Experiment, Six-Sigma Process or other statisctical tools.

-Excellent problem solving skills with out-of-the box thinking.

-Excellent project management skill and able to work independently and as part of a team.

-Ability to establish clear goals and formulate plans to achieve them.

-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
