Associate Director, C&IB - Guangzhou Branch

Responsibilities:

-Identify opportunities for the Bank in providing a wide range of services/products to new and existing local corporate clients.

-Build and maintain effective access to client at all appropriate levels, including aligning colleagues as/when required for relationship management purposes.

-Co-ordinate / lead both internal and external processes where necessary to ensure smooth execution of mandated transactions.

-Be responsible for revenue, and return of client portfolio .

-Maintain a current knowledge of CBRC/PBOC and SAFE regulations.

-Alert senior management of any immediate escalation and transaction or situations that senior management should be aware of and responsibility and accountability of fraud and prevention.

Requirements:

-Minimum qualification of a University degree, preferably from a reputable university;

-Min. 5 - 8 years corporate banking experience in banking industry;

-Good credit analysis skills with broad understanding of commercial banking and investment banking businesses;

-Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin;

-PC literate with good knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;

-Business oriented (within defined parameters of the Bank's rules of engagement) and result driven;

-Diligent work attitude with team-player mentality and behaviour; and good communication / socializing skills
