Main Responsibility

Bottleneck product type PNS/PNU sourcing (including offshore market), education, and follow up till 1st order shipment.
Existing supplier database development, including Organization, CoC follow up. Capacity and Capability Development, align with other parties within PO to evaluate and motivate suppliers.

Source material suppliers with senses for best deal including delivery time, quality and cost
Finding and developing new products with fashion sense and with intension for customer benefit
To benchmark prices on all accessory materials
Secure the competitive price and good quality of raw materials
Work with Capacity Assurance Manager together to negotiating the capacity and liability for booking materials
Support merchandiser in negotiation to get the best price with good quality from the material supplier, make sure the capacity is enough
Support merchandiser in production to get material on time and make sure the lead time is ok for our orders
Support to solve problems on materials during quotation and bulk production

Working closely with CoC and QA to secure the new material is achieving related standard requirements
Provide and update the new material to all R&D and PD when new material coming
Have good knowledge of material suppliers
Build and maintain supplier database including capacity, price, fashion sense,lead time, quality performance, CoC status etc Evaluate material suppliers' performance and coordinate education for new suppliers
Update fashion trends from the market
Secure H&M has material library for long term and short term trends




Mian Requirement
Bachelor's degree preferably in material-related science
Background of working in organic/recycled material is preferred
Familiar with material sourcing markets in China or other area in Asia
Familiar with different materials for fashion accessories,including yarn,leather,plastic,etc.
Good command of English in both writing and oral
Minimum 5 years in fashion accessory industry and 2 years in materials
Interested in fashion




Preferred experience or skills
Experience of production process in fashion accessory industry with responsibilities for purchasing raw materials
Experience of working in buying office for sourcing
