Mission of Function
- Providing tax compliance review and tax advice on various tax issues.
Dimensions of Function
- The annual target would be assessed based on service hours and income billed. No reporting line is assigned to this role.
Contacts (internal/external)
- Internally this person would contact GSS AFS, commercials and CFOs; Externally the consultant would be the interface to tax bureaus.
What are my responsibilities? 我的工作职责是什么？
1. Provide tax compliance review and tax advisory services;
2. Control tax risk and monitor tax audit;
3. Improve Siemens companies' tax awareness and prepare technical update, newsletters and circulars;
4. Liaise with external tax firms and tax authorities;
5. Implement tax planning ideas.
What do I need to qualify for this job? 我如何才能胜任？
1. University degree and major in tax, economics, finance and business administration, CTA or CPA would be preferred. Will be under tax manager's monitoring for four eyes implementation purposes;
2. With working experience in Big 4 or other multi-national companies in tax-related field for 3 - 4 years;
3. Fluent in written and oral English, fluent in Cantonese and Madarin;
4. Advanced presentation / communication skills;
5. Advanced MS-Office application;
6. Basic accounting regulations and guidelines and Mandatory PRC GAAP;
7. With leadership potentials;
8. Capability of working in different company cultures and independently;
9. Unlimited thinking, initiative, analytics, result and quality orientation, customer focus.

- Siemens Taxes provides policy guidelines, technical support and technical supervision for the member companies on daily tax work, and make tax review on a regular basis. We have dedicated tax teams in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin and Nanjing. In addition, SLC Taxes divide team members into different business groups based on different business needs, for instance, General Consulting Service and Transfer Pricing Service. We strengthen communication with regional tax departments through Siemens Global Tax Management Network and learn advanced experience of tax administration from other countries. We also attach importance to exchanging experience with tax authorities and tax counterparts, and actively participate in seminars/workshops organized by external professional organizations to improve our expertise.
