1. Perform and / or coordinate the design, manufacture and maintenance of tooling including molds and dies.

2. Plan and implement maintenance procedures for molds, die and related equipment.

3. Control and monitor outside mold / tool vendor including outsourcing partners in PRC.

4. Trouble-shooting of process problems.

5. Ensure the tools perform under specified requirement to supply molding components to production.

6. Participate in various cost and productivity improvement projects.

7. Assist in the acquisition of tooling equipment.

8. Provide support in the planning and installation of molding machines and equipment in molding outsourcing partners.

9. Assist in project feasibility study and implementation.

10. Ensure compliance with company and Governmental Safety and Environmental Policy / regulations in tooling molds and other projects.

11. Coordinate the preparation of new product tooling.

12. Carry out other related duties.

                        

Requirements:

  

1. University or Polytechnic graduates in Mechanical / Production engineering or equivalent.

  

2. Minimum 3 years experience in related engineering discipline.

3. Knowledgeable of Product Design and Product Quality requirement.

4. Experienced in Tool design, CAD/CAM, Machining, B/P reading, tolerance and quality inspection.Good knowledge of the tools, process and equipment.
