ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• To assist the Marketing Finance Manager, Mainland China in:

I) Performing value-added analysis and providing recommendations to support effective decision making by the Marketing & Finance management

II) Financial/budget management for product costs, supply chain costs, brand expenditures and non-brand expenditures

- Timely review actual spend with budget holders to ensure spend is within budget

- Perform commitment accounting and closely monitor provisions accounts

- Conduct periodical review through detailed analysis of cost components and identify areas for productivity improvement (mainly product cost, supply chain cost). Drive implementation of productivity initiatives and timely report progress to management

- Ensure all marketing activities have sound financially justifications and effectiveness being properly measured

- Liaise with agencies on agency fee reconciliation, agency audit and provide input to agency evaluation

III) Maintaining a robust control environment for Marketing/Procurement processes

- Identify and continuously review processes with high risk exposure and propose/implement effective controls and governance

- Ensure compliance with the Group requirements

IV) Conducting trainings to Marketing team to increase awareness in Finance

• To apply marketing finance tools and best practices in analyzing effectiveness of marketing investment. Practively identify and propose ways to enhance existing systems / tools for continuous improvement.
• To support Monthly Operating Profitability Estimation and Strategy & Budgeting Cycle (including Quarterly Performance Review (QPR), Annual Peformance Review, Strategy Review and Budget Review)

- Discuss and confirm assumptions with Marketing team and other stakeholders

- Prepare financial forecast and other necessary analysis up to Market Contribution

- Prepare profitability reviews (Brand / Channel / Customers)

- Prepare financial analysis on competitor profitability

- Work together with Marketing and Finance team to prepare documents and reports as required by Region

Requirements：

1. Qualified accountant, at least 3 years’ post qualification working experience
2. Possessed a good analytical mind and is experienced in performing high quality financial analysis and making recommendations based on the results
3. Proven communication, influencing and inter-personal skills
4. Have passion and initiative to innovate and explore different ways of working for continuous improvement
5. Mature and show confidence when being challenged
6. Ability to drive financial and commercial insight in decision making
7. Ability to effectively engage stakeholders to influence decision making and be a proactive team player
8. Ability to identify opportunities and drive changes in way of work to improve business results
