职位描述
The job holder will be responsible for executing the strategy of the Corporate Systems Division as described above. In other words, the job holder will be responsible for providing functional and technical support as well as continuous improvements on global business applications owned by the Corporate Systems division. He/she will be accountable for ensuring availability and efficiency of our IT services for the MARS Business Units within the designated functional area and/or the region. In this role, he/she will be functionally managed by a Corporate Systems Service Manager based in the same site.
1.Main accountabilities
* Ensure the availability or recovery of the IT service to the Business users, according to the Service Levels agreed with the business and following the ITIL-based Service management processes.
* Communicate resolution progress to the Business users, and escalate when appropriate.
* Ensure that support is delivered by leveraging the presence of resources in all regions, in a "follow the sun" manner.
* Become an application expert within his/her functional area
Create, maintain and diffuse functional and technical knowledge about the applications and the working practices, notably in maintaining documentation within our centralized Documentation library and in providing training to other team members on his/her area of expertise.
* Plan, develop and test system changes that deliver genuine business or supportability benefits. When required, ensure appropriate resources are allocated to the activity and deliver the expected results within the agreed timeframe.
* Run test procedures and systems acceptance tests, prepare the production environment, and implement system changes or new applications into production. Monitor evolution & manage unexpected events.
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with business users, within the geographical region and globally. This includes the following responsibilities: listen to the concerns and requests of the business users, acknowledge their problems and needs, provide expertise and guidance to progress toward solution, provide help and training on systems and best practices, gain the trust and respect of our business users.
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with IT suppliers, internal and external: define clear requirements and agree up-front delivery dates, monitor progress and results.
* Proactively identify and implement application or process enhancements to improve system usability and supportability, in the principle of continuous improvement of our services.
* Manage deployment project or represent Corporate Systems in the Application deployment project to ensure supportability and usability of the application.
2. Requirements
* Technical experience:
IT background desirable
Finance knowledge or experience of supporting Financial Application is a plus
* Language:
English fluent
* Learning Agility:
Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, technologies and methodologies. Active commitment to Personal Development.
* Behavioral competencies:
Strong interpersonal skills, relationship building with peers and across different teams and individuals in different levels of the organization
Good communication skills both written / verbal and listening / informing
Strong ability to set priorities and work in an autonomous manner.
Analytical skills, ability to solve difficult problems by applying rigorous logic and methods
Customer focus and dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
Capacity do deal with ambiguous situations
Comfort around providing support to higher management
