Human Resources Team of HSBC Technology & Services (China) Ltd provides rounded services covering all employees around HSBC China, including 20+ branches and a sub-company located in Guangzhou. This team is also part of China country HR team with close connections with counter parties of other HSBC entities in China. Therefore, you have to be dependable, open and connected in order to be successful in the HR discipline of the banking industry.
 
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Assistant Manager Human Resources.
 
In this role, you will:
- Accountable for designated client groups and acting as the first point of contact for the line.
- Understands the business and departmental objectives and identifies how HR can drive/support the achievement of these in partnership with the business.
- Provides advice to line managers on complex HR issues and people decisions, advising on complex disciplinary or grievance actions.
- Facilitates effective and consistent performance management/calibration/pay review discussions and negotiations within the business, supporting specific interventions and promoting compliant job evaluation.
- Supports talent identification, promoting career development, coaching and development planning.
- Works collaboratively with HRSD and Specialist teams and HR team from other entities and ASP to implement HR products and services.
- Prepares HR related statistics & reports based on business requirement.
- Delivers support on various HR projects with other HR teams when necessary.


To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- At least 5-year working experience in HR.
- Be familiar with Human Resources professional knowledge and labor law and regulations.
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding Multi-task management skills; Ability to prioritize work independently.
- Positive working attitude and willing to go extra miles
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
