My Job is:

§ Ensuring SOPs, processes and best practices are followed

§ Supporting any ad-hoc projects assigned

§ Clearly brief factory the Tesco product standards and testing requirements to ensure all products meet or exceed TESCO expectations

§ Approving RED/GREEN seal sample which are legal and safe and meet the CBT’s brief as close as possible

§ Approving and ensuring complete product files (Spec, cert, doc, ….) are held by Tesco

§ Managing the technical critical path to assure CRD is met and highlighting any risks to the project landing on time.

§ Develop new and existing factories to ensure products are manufactured with consistent quality and safety via robust pre-assessment, up skilling and
control sites end to end

§ Working closely with factory to improve inspection pass rate and to improve their factory compliance with appropriate Technical audit, agreed action plans
and on-time NC close-off.

§ Taking appropriate actions to drive factories ready for self-inspection factory or self-approval factory

§ Monitoring supplier performance and built trust relationship with suppliers to drive product quality and reduce cost

§ Working closely with CBT Technical for any incidents of recall, EPW,customer complaints and high return products

Requirements:

·Bachelor of Science as a minimum

·English level 4 as a minimum

·5 Years technical working
experience in buying office or sourcing company as a minimum.

·Production/ Manufacturing process knowledge in stationery category
preferred

·Familiar with factory audit/evaluation techniques

·Skills of office software e.g. Excel, Word, PPT and Mail etc.

·Experience in Stationery category especially kids stationery preferred

·Experience in Toy category preferred
