The Corporate Communications Supervisor will report to Corporate Communications and Branding Manager, and lead team members at (Sr.) executive level, to develop the right Communications strategy and materials for Jebsen’s corporate brand in China, and ensure the quality and punctuality of all kinds of responsible events. Creativity, initiative, decisiveness, self-motivation, and good communication skills are required.
This role also requires working closely with agencies and vendors, as well as business Units and other corporate functions, while constantly keeping abreast of the market landscape, trends, and development.
This position is open immediately for someone looking for an independent, dynamic, fast-paced and multi-faceted role; qualified candidate with more experiences may be considered for Corporate Communications Assistant Manager position
Responsibilities
Media relations:
Build good relationship with print and digital publications including business, lifestyle and portals editorial team of traditional media titles to help drive the Group’s corporate branding awareness, with both good quantity and quality
Identify and recommend good media collaboration opportunities based on media knowledge and relationships
Media strategy development:
Work together with Corporate Communications and Branding Manager to develop comprehensive external and internal communications strategy covering all key stakeholder channels to maximize the return of investment
Supervise team members to drive quality content development and management:
Work together with line manager to develop PR content calendar – communication action plan + content development plan
Lead team members to digitalize and socialize the PR content for better social use
Tailor made content for social/digital media pitch and/or staff communications initiatives use
PR events:
Offline event planning and execution with the focus on how to leverage media resources to maximize the awareness.
Work closely with BU product/trade marketing team. Leverage BU events to engage and strengthen media relationship
Drive initiatives with vendors to reduce expenses and improve cost control.
Basic Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years work experience in Publicity for leading multi-national company, international PR agency or related company
Knowledge
An organized, self-motivated person with an eye for details who is able to successfully implement multiple initiatives, run multiple tasks simultaneously and drive results for the project. The candidate must be a team player and is able to work with internal and external partners seamlessly. He/she is expected to possess the following qualities:
Strong planning and execution skills; experience in handling, planning and overseeing the execution of media/PR plans.
Problem solving skills: able to identify and resolve issues independently and communicate solutions effectively
Analytical skills: able to provide sound recommendations based on good understanding of the media and general business environment.
Professionalism and integrity, a team player who can perform well under pressure.
Results Driven: Ensures efforts are focused on the activities that positively impact business results. Perform good sense of urgency in accomplishing goals and takes corrective actions to ensure that critical projects achieve results.
Collaboration: Working effectively and cooperatively with others; establishing and maintaining good working relationships. Facilitator in assisting company to achieve goals.
Communication: Understands people’s differences in communication and is able to articulate messages at all levels, directive approach to message. Listens to other people’s point of view and incorporate into message. Persuasive, passionate and effective skills in getting point across written and spoken forms.
Customer Focus: Making (internal & external) customers and their needs a primary focus. Considers how actions or plans will affect customers; responds quickly to meet customer needs and resolve problems; avoids over commitments.
Core Skills
Business fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin; Fluency in Cantonese would be a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. (Graphic design & web administration software knowledge a plus not a must)

Bachelor’s degree and above
