GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist the implementation of merchandising projects in Guangdong with focus on direct own retail stores. The person will be responsible for the collection and assortment planning, sell-in and sell-through analysis, inventory management, tracking of delivery schedule for key marketing articles and sharing of best practices amongst the markets.
The person should fully utilize the information of Burgeon for generating reports and analysis to share with management and markets for continuous improvement of merchandising operation and planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analysis – Buying and Sell-through
? Regularly produce, monitor and analyse sell-through of each market. Analysis should include:
。 Top sellers
。 Sales to stock ratio
。 Gross margin and sales reduction
。 Product sell-through
。 Special offers
? Ensure sales figures are collected on weekly basis and prepare reports to ROM and Retail Director
? Provide directions and suggestions for enhancing performance of Guangdong market
? Ensure right pace for launch of new products
? Enhance sell-through of products by right selection of product assortments in different levels of retail shops, shop-in-shops (SIS), discounted SIS, and outlets
? Monitor sales reductions and discount activities of retail shops to ensure optimal gross margin contributions
Inventory and Branding Mix Management
? Prepare Guangdong monthly inventory report and the markets with comprehensive analysis of:
。 Aging profile
。 Branding mix
。 Deviations between actual and target on the stock holding level
? Ensure healthy branding mix development in the retail shops by providing regular feedback and guidelines
? Monitor the arrival of key marketing articles and to align the launching period of key collections in all the retail shops
? Review and comment the buying plan of retail shops for every new selling round. Provide training support if necessary
