The school is now seeking an Art Education Teacher. This is a highly organizing and challenging position in a new international school. The ideal candidate should be responsible for developing in each student an interest in and the ability for creative expression in visual terms, using skills and techniques of artistic expression consistent with school guidelines. We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individual who loves working with kids.
Responsibilities:
· Teach knowledge and skills in art, including drawing, painting, lettering, and art history
· Demonstrate techniques in activities such as drawing and painting
· Instruct students in proper care and use of tools and equipment
· Participate in curriculum and other developmental programs, such as after school art club
· Communicate with parents and school counselors on pupil progress
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or related fields.
· Patient, passion and love for young kids.
· Sense of responsibility.
· At least 2 years of work experience as an full-time Art Education teacher.
· Ability to work in a team as well as work independently .
· Teaching license or related certifications.
· English-only for teaching.
Additional Qualifications:
· Experience in K12 International School.
· Master's degree in related fields.
· Experience working in multi-cultural settings.
