KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Manage the regional logistics operation distribution,
warehousing, transportation, and customs declaration; ensure
all logistics related activities meet compliance request
? Responsible for setting up the regional logistics/distribution
strategy and ensure it aligns with overall supply chain strategy;
manage the logistics footprint;
? Review, monitor and control the regional logistics related spend
below/within budget;
? Work with regional Logistics Purchasing team to proactively
work on the selection of logistics service provider, contract
renewal, logistics supplier audit, etc; continue to drive for rate
reduction;
? Ensure full compliance with Huntsman Corporate EHS standard
and reporting procedures in logistics area. Encourage and
drive local & regional initiatives to improve EHS performance
and behavior within logistics team, as well as with 3 rd party
logistic service providers
? Lead the identification of logistics optimization opportunity (cost
saving, efficiency improvement and complexity reduction, etc)
and execute properly;
? Collaboratively work with the peers from other function, provide
logistics solution; drive for “one team, one goal” throughout the
logistics team;
? Build team; develop and raise the overall competencies of staff
to meet business requirements/challenges; manage
development plan for talents properly, and consciously work on.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Education:
? University degree in logistics or supply chain management
Experience:
? Minimum 10 years relevant experience including 3~5 years in management
role in logistics operations in multi-national company
? Experience in chemical industry
? Experience in management of 3PL
? Experience in SAP system will be a definite advantage
Know-how/skills:
? Excellent command of written and spoken English & Mandarin
? Good team player
? Good presentation, communication and negotiation skills
? Capable to provide Logistics solution
? Proficiency use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
