For over 60 years, Seaman Corporation, which is based in Wooster, Ohio, has paved the way for coated fabric technology. Starting with unique woven base fabrics and proprietary, state-of-the-art coating formulas, the membranes are used across the world in roofing applications, wastewater management, geomembranes, truck tarps, military-grade fuel and water storage and inflatable boats.

The selected candidate is to be the sales force and the technical support contact for Shanghai Seaman with fabricators, engineers, architects and the end users for the architectural fabrics. This candidate will work closely with Seaman China team to develop China market for Seaman’s products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Acquire new sales leads from online lead service, research, cold calling and through marketplace immersion.

-Proactively call and visit fabricators, engineers, architects, the end users and others in the channel for sales of architectural fabrics.
-主动打电话和拜访工程公司或者膜结构公司、工程师、建筑师、终端用户和其他销售渠道的客户
-Present technical arguments to decision makers to sell Seaman’s fabrics, both to direct buyers and to specification writers.
-向潜在的直接买家和技术参数制定方的决策人展示技术优势,以销售西幔的涂层织物
-Provide formal and informal presentations to individuals and groups involved in the specification and sales of Seaman’s fabrics.
-提供正式和非正式的产品展示给到与西幔产品上图及销售有关的个体或组织
-Develop and maintain a project and sales list with assigned rankings and follow-ups; report and review project status list with Manager.
-对所辖区域的项目销售客户进行开发和维护跟进;向上级经理汇报和回顾项目进度状态
-Engage the IMPACT selling process in all sales/marketing activities.

-Work with China Market Manager to establish the Chinese specifications of Seaman’s products sold in China and make them complied with China standards and codes.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

-Education: Bachelor in Civil Engineering (structural engineering), or Material Engineering

-Background: over 8 years working experience as technical sales and account management in construction or building industry. Experience in membrane / fabric structure industry is preferred.
