Responsibilities:
-- To expand the Chinese vendor universe for the company in accordance to the direction provided by the centralized purchasing group.
-- To vet Chinese suppliers in regards to quality and certification.
-- To arrange for the economical transport and shipment of the materials to assign destinations determined by the company.
-- To place and expedite open orders, investigate and resolve price discrepancies, packaging, and issues and provide customer support to the fulfilment centers and suppliers.
-- Position includes data analysis, data entry and written and verbal communication.
Requirements:
-- Bachelors or equivalent in Biology and Chemistry.
-- Good experience, knowledge on biochemical and purchasing process. Overseas experience a plus.
-- Proficient listening, speaking and writing skill in English.
-- Excellent computer skills such as Word, Excel, PPT, etc.
-- Strong written and verbal communication skills within many levels of the organization.
-- Strong work ethic.
-- Self-motivated
-- Independent, yet team player motivated by results and goal oriented
-- Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
